If had the 24" screen for a reduced price and I rather like it. I reckon that the resolution may be insufficient for gamers, but it is sufficient for my needs. It works autonomously like a smart TV. Installation was straight forward: connection to wifi and accounts, connection to TIZEN copying settings from my Samsung TV, connection to Smarthings and google home... I can watch tv and streaming apps, browse internet or wireless share my laptop. I have not tried yet the remote desktop features but will do and I guess it will be OK. I think that you get a lot for the price and will be probably buying a second one as a small tv for the kitchen

I have been using this monitor about a year and for the price point it is an outstanding monitor. I honestly think the monitor holds its own against monitors almost double in price. I actually am writing this review because there is a one star review here. He goes on about how bad the monitor is but I do not believe this person owns the monitor. The lie is in the details. He says the monitor has 2 HDMI ports. If you have 5 minutes with this monitor you know, it only has a single "in" connection for HDMI, USBC and DP. I believe the review is false and should be removed.

I am unable to change from source hdmi1 to hdmi2 without it failing to recognize the source several times a day. Moreover, the troubleshooting menu shows the source in the miniature, but after that full screen won't show the source... Months of "support" and without the 2 screens (they keep taking them to analyze) and Samsung shows no progress on correcting a basic functionality -- to select a source. This is no smart device, it is dumber than any monitor ever.

I bought this smart monitor as a cheaper alternative to a smart TV , since I would never need to use the terrestrial TV functionality. I cannot comment on using it as a computer monitor, but for running TV and music apps it is great. Picture seems perfect to my eye and sound quality is perfectly acceptable for this type of product, although I am considering connecting a soundbar to upgrade the listening experience to the next level

I seriously would advise against buying this monitor. I purchased two of these for dual screen setup. One was good, one had dead pixels. Called up support who said a replacement would be a 7-10 day turnaround so I'd be better to buy a 3rd monitor and when that arrives, return the faulty unit for a refund. 3rd model arrived and it again had dead pixels. This time I returned the first faulty unit for a replacement whilst keeping the 2nd fault unit to use in the meantime. About 10 days later I get an email saying I've been refunded (not getting a replacement). I call up and I now have to buy a FORTH monitor. Forth monitor has just arrived and guess what - dead pixels. Currently 47 minutes in to a call with Samsung support to sort out a FIFTH monitor and getting nowhere quickly. Avoid the hassle - buy something else. The failure rate of these monitors is crazy

The display panel itself is great, quality picture and colours, but it is not useful as a USB-C dock for a Laptop. It suffers frequent and random disconnects from the laptop which if you're using the USB and ethernet ports on the back of the monitor (and wouldn't you, it's a USB-C dock after all) then you instantly lose connection to the peripherals and network connections you're working with. This is rubbish if you're on a Teams call and a ton of SSH sessions open, or just want to use your computer normally. I tried several chat sessions with the support team, and the solutions offered didn't work (reset settings of monitor, factory reset), so I reinstaed the old dock and had it work as a monitor via displayport. That's fine, but not why I bought a monitor with with a built-in dock. This is something that should be resolvable with a firmware update (there's a port specifically for that on the back) but I'm not holding my breath.

After using this monitor for about 2 months, I'd say it suits my wife's and my home needs very well. Multiple ports and switching between laptops and the desktop, USB hub capabilities and the LAN port. Few drawbacks (but not deal-breakers) are that the tilt angles could be slightly more and the menu navigation could be slightly simpler.

Bought this 3 days ago and I am really happy. Its usb-c port can also charge your Macbook, it has 3 regular usb ports, an HDMI port. It has a portrait mode and its height is adjustable. And it's a bit cheaper than other QHD monitors but has an elegant look. And thanks for the next-day delivery.

Lo compré el año pasado, esta bien para la resolución. He tenido pixeles muertos pero la garantía no aplica con eso, porque tiene que tener más pixeles muertos para que aplique la garantía. Si le pongo la configuración de monitor en color, los azules se vuelven más rojos y fastidia

Samsung needs to realise that a monitor these days is more than just its screen. Purely as a screen it's fine - nice and clear, 75Hz works (and is unusual for a business focused monitor). The stand is quite good. The eye saver function is appreciated. Almost everything else is a tad flawed. You can use this as a USB-C monitor, charging a laptop, providing a network and USB connections, and with MST out to other monitors (more on that later) until the laptop puts the screen into standby. At which point the network connection disappears, even if LAN power saving has been turned off on the monitor (if the keyboard is connected to the monitor this still works to wake the laptop). There might be a long running network connection on the laptop or a VPN you don't want to drop, so this is not acceptable. The only fix I have at the moment is to edit the registry in Windows 10 to extend the screen standby time for the lock screen. The Displayport MST out is a real pain. It does eventually work either with a single monitor, or using a Displayport MST hub (the Startech 2 port Displayport 1.2 MST hub works here driving a 2048x2560 10 bit greyscale monitor at 50Hz, and a 1200x1600 10 bit monitor at 60Hz after a fair bit of faffing). The reality of getting it working is repeatedly switching from MST to SST out and back again, and turning the monitor off and on again. In some cases the Displayport version needs to be altered to v1.1 because the firmware has become confused, and changing to 1.1 is the only way of switching the monitor back into SST. Doing a reset all of the firmware settings is often necessary. At the moment this is tolerable because the monitor is used with a work laptop with the S60UA and the two other monitors daisy chained through MST once set up carry on working provided the PC is not switched off - use hibernate instead of power off and on to retain a reliable configuration. What I (eventually) want to do is also be able to switch the MST out between connections, so that I can switch between USB-C MST out to Displayport MST out when moving systems. I don't have much confidence this will work seamlessly. The PiP/PBP I've used very little and isn't exactly what I expected. When the screen is split/has a PiP window the monitor reports modified EDID data to the connected systems - so each system doesn't see it's resourced with 2560x1440, it has typically half of that (for PBP), or a modified amount (for PiP) rather than a higher resolution input being resized and displayed in the PiP window (and naturally losing quality). I thought this functionality would be useful, but the EDID modification and subsequent resizing of applications makes it irritating. It's really only useful when two inputs are constantly connected rather than occasionally monitored. So, at the end of the day it basically works, but the firmware foibles frequently really annoy. Test the firmware properly with frequent switching between inputs, using MST, and fix the LAN disappearing on screen standby and I'd be much happier
