Im happy to use samsung phone S series. But when i saw personally the Galaxy fold 8, Im thinking to upgrade soon. Specially i like the screen and its look premium phone like multi purpose. u can use like small notebook or pc and camera is amazing and the touch screen is smooth and accurate and the design almost perfect 10 for me. Been loving my Galaxy Flip since the first edition and upgrading it every year. Didn't expect to say this but after experiencing the Fold8 hands-on, it seems it's time to switch it up. Much slimmer and lighter than I expected, sitting super well in one hand. The real magic was unfolding it (unexpectedly I do appreciate that extra screen space) which made my little scroll through my favourite dog content so much better. Always loved how the Flex Mode on my Flip made every selfie session with my niece and dog so much more fun (and stable) by using the main camera and outside screen and now with the Fold8 camera... chef's kiss :)

When I picked up the Galaxy Z Fold 8 for the first time, I was just in awe. Before I even got my hands on it, I saw one of the Samsung reps holding it and I was already impressed just watching from a distance. This size sits right in between the Fold 8 Ultra and the Flip 8, and that positioning just works. The outer screen is 5.5 inches with a 10:6 aspect ratio and thin bezels, and the inner display is 7.6 inches with a 4:3 ratio. That 4:3 shape means photos actually fill the screen properly, and honestly, it makes for a genuinely nice e-reader experience too, whether it's open or closed, just because of how light it is. And it really is incredibly light. With a 4,500mAh battery, it still weighs just about 201 grams. So you're getting way more screen than a Flip without the weight you'd expect. What really got me was watching other people experience it for the first time. I stood in the Samsung store and watched people walk up and pick this thing up, and you could see it on their faces immediately. People were genuinely in awe of it, the same way I was. On the camera side, you get a 50MP primary and 50MP ultra-wide rear setup, plus 10MP front and cover cameras. Video goes up to 4K 60fps or even 8K 30fps, and the rear photos pleasantly surprised me with nice edge detection and background blur. My honest gripe is that the front cameras are the same 10MP units as the Ultra, and there's no telephoto, so you lose that zoom flexibility. If camera performance is your top priority, the Ultra is still the better pick, hands down. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is a really good foldable phone.
